Chicago’s Leading Edge, the Chicago chapter of Women in Aviation International, is dedicated to inspiring and educating the next generation of aviation professionals through our annual Girls in Aviation Day event. Each year, we provide young girls with hands-on experiences and opportunities to explore the world of aviation.
In 2021, we hosted Girls in Aviation Day at Lake in the Hills Airport in Illinois, where attendees engaged in interactive activities, learned from industry professionals, and discovered various aviation careers. From aircraft demonstrations to mentorship opportunities, the event offered an exciting and educational experience for all participants.
