Chicago’s Leading Edge, the Chicago chapter of Women in Aviation International, is committed to inspiring and empowering future generations of aviators through our annual Girls in Aviation Day event. Each year, we create hands-on experiences that introduce young girls to the many exciting opportunities in aviation.
In 2022, we hosted Girls in Aviation Day at Lake in the Hills Airport in Illinois, where attendees participated in engaging aviation-themed activities, met industry professionals, and explored potential career paths. From pre-flight demonstrations to interactive exhibits, the event offered a fun and educational glimpse into the world of aviation.
